ABOUT
Nura Natour studied from 2017 to 2022 Bachelor Recorder as well as Education with second major German Studies at Hochschule für Musik and Albert-Ludwigs-Universität in Freiburg. Numerous master classes with Dorothee Oberlinger, Han Tol, Dan Laurin, Pierre Hamon, Antonio Politano, Josué Meléndez Peláez and others enriched her artistic education.

Her concert experience includes family concerts with the Freiburg Baroque Orchestra and a radio broadcast on Deutschlandfunk Kultur. As part of the Gstaad Menuhin Festival 2021, she worked with renowned artists such as Maurice Steger, Rachel Podger, Diego Ares and David Bergmüller. She also participated in children's concerts at the Pierre-Boulez-Saal in Berlin. She has also performed with Sebastian Wienand, Stefan Temmingh and the Capricornus Consort Basel in the Czech Republic. With her formation DuoLegno Nura Natour is prize winner of the 3rd International Recorder Competition Tel Aviv.
She has been a member of the Consort ensemble feuervogel since autumn 2020 which will release its debut CD on the Coviello Classics label at the beginning of 2024, supported by a scholarship fromNeustart Kultur. In the concert season 2022/2023, she can be heard with ensemble feuervogel at Innsbruck Festival of Early Music, Potsdam Sanssouci Music Festival and Festival Oude Muziek Utrecht, among others.

In the 2022/2023 academic year, Nura Natour will be supported by the FrauenFörderStipendium Musik. Since fall 2022 she studies Master Recorder with Prof. Stefan Temmingh and Master Music Theory with Prof. Philipp Teriete at Hochschule für Musik Freiburg. Further she is teaching recorder and theory of music privately as well as at the Freiburg University of Music.
